JCI Scotland is delighted to be hosting the first-ever National Enterprise Day on the 5th of October in the beautiful setting of the Gleneagles Hotel. This event will give members, patrons and business owners the opportunity share their own ideas whilst also gaining valuable advice from experienced entrepreneurs and business professionals. Within the professional arena it is extremely important to learn from the best, and that is why our guest speakers have been hand chosen to discuss issues that are important to young professionals across Scotland.

Charan Gill
Curry King Charan Gill the founder of the successful chain of Ashoka restaurants was presented with the honour of an honorary degree at the University of Glasgow. Punjab-born Charan received his honour in recognition of his contribution to Glasgow. Gill came to the city with his family in 1963 and worked in the Yarrow's shipbuilders yard before going into business. Four years ago he sold the Ashoka empire to long-time business associate Sanjay Majhu for £8m.
